Scania is a Swedish global company founded in 1891 that sells trucks, buses, industrial and marine engines. Originally established in the city of Södertälje, the company began its journey with the production of railway cars, after which it switched to the automotive industry. The first passenger car was produced in 1897. In 1902, the company released the first truck with a maximum speed of 12 km/h to transport up to 1.5 tons of cargo.
