Tata Nano GenX – overview
The Tata Nano GenX: a revival attempt of the most affordable yet ultimately unpopular Indian car, the Tata Nano. This 5-door hatchback, released in 2015, boasted a more refined interior, a liftgate, and an automated transmission. However, the price tag grew to 199,000 rupees ($3,125), while the original Nano's cost started at $2,000. Production was eventually discontinued in 2018.
