Toyota Venza – overview
The Toyota Venza is a compact SUV designed primarily for the North American market, but is also sold in other countries. It has been produced since 2008. The first generation was assembled on the platform of the popular Toyota Camry sedan. The Lexus RX used the same platform. The SUV was equipped with 3.5 and 2.7-liter engines, both paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The entry-level version was front-wheel drive, but there was also an optional four-wheel drive system. The second generation has been on sale since September 2020. In the US, the Venza is available only in an four-wheel drive version with a hybrid system. In China, the vehicle is equipped with a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine with 169 hp and a CVT.
