Volvo 140 Series – overview
The Volvo 140 Series is a range of medium-sized cars produced by Volvo from 1966 to 1974. It is offered as a 2- or 4-door sedan (models 142 and 144), as well as a 5-door estate (model 145). They were very popular at the time, with over a million units sold. The style of the model was so successful that it was called "eternal", which was confirmed by the fact that the car was successfully sold almost unchanged until the early 1990s. The Volvo 140 Series was distinguished by large windows and three side windows. Otherwise, it was the good old Volvo, a roomy, strong, and reliable car.
