The German automaker Wanderer established in 1896 initially manufactured bicycles and motorcycles. It was only in 1911 that Wanderer’s first car, W-1 Puppchen, was released. Later on, the company manufactured cars, motorcycles, bicycles, minibuses and many other types of vehicles. It released more than 30 models in total. In 1932 Wanderer joined the Auto Union AG corporate group and continued to release its developments as a group member. In 1945, Wanderer’s facility was closed. By the way, a rare Wanderer’s car kept in a private collection starred in the legendary Soviet movie "Seventeen Moments of Spring".
