Yangwang U8 – overview
Introducing the Yangwang U8, a ladder-frame off-roader boasting four electric motors with a combined output of 1,100 horsepower and an all-wheel steering system. The U8 marks the debut of the new Yangwang brand, created by Chinese automaker BYD to manufacture high-end, advanced electric vehicles. Sporting a design dubbed "Time Gate," the off-roader blends futuristic touches with utilitarian and rugged lines. Inside, multiple screens are combined into a single unit. The U8 accelerates to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. Additionally, the electric vehicle offers a "crab mode," a "floating" mode for traversing shallow water, a spot-turning system, and the ability to drive with a flat tire at speeds of up to 120 km/h.
