Installation of airbags is most often carried out after their deployment, since the deployed airbags are unsuitable for further use. Before replacing the airbag, de-energize the vehicle's on-board electric system. Remove the mountings of the airbag module and separate it from the central part of the steering wheel, then disconnect the electrical connector of the propellant charge. Power up the new airbag module, insert the module into the steering wheel slots and secure it. As for the passenger airbag, in most car models, in order to replace it, you will have to dismantle the glove box and the deflector for blowing the car's heating system.
