It may be required to replace the camshaft position sensor in the presence of the following signs: increased fuel consumption, engine starting problems, and lower performance. The procedure for dismantling involves disconnecting electrical connector from the sensor, removing the air filter housing, the upper timing case, the support bracket, the sensor mounts and the sensor itself. Installation of a new device is carried out in the reverse order.
