The injector flushing can be carried out using the fuel rail, when flushing fluid is supplied to the combustion chamber through the rail and the engine is running for a while. Ultrasound flushing is also possible. In the framework of the ultrasound flushing, the injectors are removed from the engine and placed in an ultrasonic bath.
