The side windows need to be replaced if their surfaces show signs of wear or if the glass is mechanically damaged beyond repair. The side window vents need to be replaced less often, as they are smaller and less susceptible to damage. The side windows have a complex shape, which somewhat complicates dismantling and installation, but the general procedure is as follows: remove the panel and door trim, remove the power window control knob, disconnect the window mechanism drive, remove the replaced glass. Install a new glass in the grooves, check the mobility, adjust the power window and install the door.
