It may be required to repair the cooling radiators in the presence of the following signs: engine overheating, insufficient interior heating, coolant leakage, damage to the water pump, damage to the cylinder head gasket. During the repair, the coolant is drained from the system, the flexible hoses that are connected to the radiator are disconnected, the electrical wiring from the sensors and the fan is disconnected and the fasteners are removed, after which the radiator is removed. The internal cavities of the radiator are thoroughly cleaned, which is sometimes enough to repair the radiator. If cracks are found in the radiator, they are removed, in particular, with the help of welding.
