Engine cooling fans repair
Engine cooling fans repair
A faulty engine cooling fan can cause overheating of the engine, which, in turn, can lead to very unpleasant consequences. It is the increasing overheating of the engine that indicates a malfunctioning fan. To repair the fan, it is first de-energized and dismantled. Most often, the repair consists of cleaning the device with a brush, which should be done regularly. Moreover, faulty wires may be the cause of the breakdown, in which case they are replaced. If the malfunction is caused by the fan motor, it is simply replaced. The same procedure is applied to a temperature sensor in case of a breakdown.
