Replacing engine mountings
Replacing engine mountings
The hydraulic mounts (support cushions) can be operated for about 100 - 250 thousand operational kilometers. However, when operating in difficult conditions, they must be replaced much earlier due to wear. The procedure for replacing the front mount can be as follows: remove the mountings of the support cushion to the suspension cross member bracket, raise the engine, remove the old mount and install a new one. Replacing the rear engine mount includes the following actions: removing the crankcase guard, removing the rack mounts from the engine side, removing the rear mount and installing a new one.
