Noise spreads both through the body's structural elements and through the air, while car manufacturers pay little attention to soundproofing of arches. To reduce the noise from the wheel arches, the car body and in the interior need appropriate treatment. There are different types of arch protection: plastic lockers, fiberglass and polyethylene lockers, armor film, aluminum and galvanized protection, protection with liquid elements. The general procedure for protecting the arches is as follows: dismantling the wheel, cleaning the arch from the outer and inner sides, applying soundproofing materials in accordance with the technology, which depends on the material.
