Transfer case replacement
Transfer case replacement
The main symptoms of the malfunctioning transfer case are: oil leakage, increased vibrations or noise, spontaneous disengagement, jerks during driving. It is required to replace the transfer case in the presence of serious malfunctions. To do this, remove the wires from the differential lock, disconnect the speedometer drive shaft, the front and rear propeller shafts from the transfer case, along with other elements, after which dismantle the transfer case itself with the intermediate shaft. Installation of a new transfer case is carried out in the reverse order.
