Valeriy Yatsun

He began his career in the automotive industry in 2001, immediately after completing his military service. His early years working in an auto parts warehouse—from assistant storekeeper to warehouse manager—provided him with a solid understanding of vehicle mechanics, logistics, and aftersales processes, and enabled him to build professional relationships with key market players.

In 2006, Valery moved into retail sales, starting his career at a Honda dealership. At the same time, he earned a BA in Business Administration with a specialization in finance. The combination of hands-on experience and structured education allowed him to advance quickly to the position of dealership manager.

A pivotal stage came at the end of 2021, when, amid rapid growth in the electric vehicle segment, the dealership owners received an offer from Union Group to transition from the Honda brand to a Geely franchise. Valery led the analysis of the electric vehicle market in Israel and internationally. The business plan he prepared formed the basis for the strategic decision to fully transition to the Geely brand.

The Geely dealership in Netanya opened in April 2022 and quickly became one of the brand’s leading representations in the country. Today, Valery Yatsun continues to manage the dealership, overseeing sales, financial solutions, trade-ins, customer relations, and business development.

His expert perspective is grounded in practical experience, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the transformation of the automotive market, making him a reliable source of analysis and professional insight for readers of an automotive magazine.
