Diagnostics of the automatic gearbox is carried out in the following cases: there is no gear engagement; the gears are not changed during movement; if the reverse gear is not engaged, the car does not accelerate when changing the gears; there is a burning smell inside; extraneous sounds are heard in neutral gear. Diagnostics of the automatic gearbox is carried out according to the following algorithm: first, a scanner is connected to the diagnostic connector to read the automatic gearbox errors, then a test drive is carried out, during which an expert checks the operation of the automatic gearbox. Next, the expert checks the level and quality of the oil, as well as the presence of deposits in the sump, measures the pressure in the diagnostic plugs and conducts a number of additional tests.
