The corrugation replacement procedure may include the following stages: removing the fastenings of the receiver tube and the manifold, disconnecting other exhaust pipe fasteners, cutting out the corrugation with a special tool, removing the remaining old welded seam, disassembling the section of the exhaust duct of the muffler with the damaged corrugation, cleaning the cut points, installing a new corrugation and fixing it by welding.
