It may be time to replace the ignition distributor in case of its faulty operation which is indicated by the following symptoms: engine starting problems or unstable speed after a spark has been produced. The procedure for replacing the element can be as follows: de-energize the car, remove the air intake and air filter, the pipe between the throttle and the filter, disconnect the high-voltage cables from the ignition distributor cover, remove the block with wires, remove the ignition distributor fasteners and remove the distributor. The new distributor is installed in the reverse order.
