The seat reupholstery is carried out when it is necessary to replace the old seat upholstery or in order to give the interior of the car a more individual image. The seat is fully or partially reupholstered. Such materials as leather, artificial leather, alcantra, various fabrics are used for the reupholstery. The reupholstery begins with dismantling the front seat, while, if there are side airbags, the battery is disconnected and after a while the plugs are disconnected. If the rear seats are reupholstered, their lower part and backrest are detached first, after that the seats are dismantled and taken out of the passenger compartment. To reupholster the seats, they are disassembled, and the old trimming is removed, which is used as a template for the new trimming. Then the seats are reupholstered and are put in their place.
