Heated mirror installation
The heated mirrors can improve the vehicle’s operation in cold weather. Some modern cars are equipped with this option by default, but if not, it can be installed. There are wire-based heaters, printed heaters and film heaters. The wire-based and printed heater is attached to the back of the reflector using tape, glue or mechanical clamps. To install mirrors with a film heater, remove the door trim, fix the wires from the mirror to the door, lay the wiring to the rear window heating button and check the heater.
