Power steering pump replacement
The most widespread breakdowns of the hydraulic booster include: noises when turning the steering wheel, a decrease in fluid, jerking motion when turning the steering wheel or stiff steering wheel, characteristic knocks on a bumpy road, poor steering response. To dismantle the unit, pump the oil from the power steering tank, remove the return hose, the sensor for measuring the fluid pressure in the power steering system, disconnect the discharge pipeline and remove the power steering belt. After that, remove the pump mounts and the pump itself. Install the new pump in the reverse order.
