The rear window needs to be replaced if it shows signs of wear or is damaged as a result of an accident. First, the old glass is dismantled, in whole or in fragments. The new glass is washed, and the glass encapsulation is treated with soil. A sealant is applied to the glass encapsulation and it is installed in the seating position. The process ends with complete polymerization of the sealant.
