Fuel pressure regulator replacement
The fuel pressure regulator may be faulty in the presence of the following problems: stalling at idle, loss of engine power while driving, and acceleration problems when shifting gears. To replace the fuel pressure regulator, depressurize the vehicle's fuel system, separate the vacuum hose from the regulator, remove the fuel drain pipe fastener, remove the regulator itself and replace it with a new one.
