Replacing the car sills
In most cases, the car sills need to be replaced due to corrosion. Before proceeding with the replacement, remove door decorative linings and kicking plates (if any), dismantle splash shields and wheel arch liners, unscrew fasteners and remove the old sill. After that, install a new sill in the reverse order. In some models, the sills are part of the body, in which case welding is also required during replacement.
