If, while driving on uneven roads, you hear knocking, noise and other extraneous sounds, or your car goes off the flat road, your chassis may need diagnostics. Other signs of a malfunction include the instability of the car at high speeds, excessive rolls when turning, squeaking when turning, slipping when braking, longer braking distance or losing control when accelerating. When diagnosing the chassis, the experts check the spring elasticity and the condition of control arms, the integrity of shock absorbers and drive shaft bushes, as well as the gaps in the tie-rod ends, drive shafts, ball bearings, and the brake system, including pads, drums, wheel hubs, discs, rubber, and brake hoses.
