Installation of the satellite-based alarm system begins with determining its location. The main alarm unit is often located behind the dashboard near the steering column. Dismantle the dashboard and disassemble the steering column housing to access the ignition lock. Install the indicator LED and lay the wires to the antenna, which is usually installed on the windshield above the rear-view mirror. Power up the main unit and connect the central locking, if it is already installed or install it first. Connect the alarm unit to the ignition lock for the door, hood and trunk opening, install the sound alarm siren, after which install the shock sensor and the alarm silence push button.
