Steering column (front panel) reupholstery may be necessary if it has been damaged as a result of the deployment of airbags, exposure to chemicals during cleaning or as part of interior tuning. Rubber material, genuine leather, Alcantara, thermal vinyl and others can be used to reupholster the steering column. To renew the coating of the steering column, it is first disassembled, cleaned and degreased. Cutting markings are applied to the steering column, the required cover piece is cut out, after which the elements of a new cover are sewn together and pulled over the steering column for fitting. Next, the new cover is glued and aligned.
