The turbine may require diagnostics in the following cases: black, gray or blue color of exhaust gases; unusual engine noise or overheating; reduced thrust; increased oil or fuel consumption; radial play or back and forth play. In the course of diagnostics, an expert checks the turbocharger, filter, impellers, hoses and other turbine components, measures engine oil pressure and compression.
