Diagnostics of the HPFP of the diesel engine is carried out in the following cases: an increase in diesel fuel consumption, increased smoke formation, failure to supply fuel to the injector, slow response to pressing the gas pedal, a fuel leak, and unusual noises. During the diagnostics, the following parameters are checked: performance indicators of high-pressure fuel pumps, stability of working pressure, uniform fuel supply of pumps, functionality of injectors.
