AC Frua – overview
The AC Frua, aka AC 428, is a British sports car produced from 1965 to 1973. A total of 81 units were produced: 49 fastback coupes, 29 convertibles and 3 special versions. The limited production is explained by the fact that the bodies for sports cars were made in Italy, for which the chassis was brought from England and then back. The 7-liter Ford engine allowed the Frua to compete with the most expensive competitors, and the low weight made the car fuel-efficient.
