Alpine A310 - catalog and technical specifications
The Alpine A310 is a sports coupe that successfully replaced the legendary A110 model. It was equipped with 1.6-liter gasoline engines with a capacity ranging from 95 to 193 hp, manual transmissions and rear-wheel drive systems. The model was based on a tubular spinal chassis made of steel, while the body was made of fiberglass. Released in 1971 and restyled in 1976, it received a new 2.6-liter V6 engine. Outstanding handling made the Alpine A310 a serious competitor to Porsche models and allowed it to win the 1977 Rally de France. In 1986, the model was discontinued in connection with the replacement with the new GTA sports car.
