Legendary Hummer! Thanks to this super-off-roader, the American automaker AM General became known throughout the world. AM General that considered itself the heir to the famous Willis and manufactured buses, large trucks and jeeps for industrial, military and government applications, developed the Humvee off-road military vehicle for the US Army back in the 1970s. Later, the civilian versions of these cars became available under the Hummer trademark. Jeep DJ 5 Series is another well-known product by AM General. After the sale of the Hummer brand to General Motors, AM General discontinued Hummers.
