Aston Martin Valhalla – overview
Aston Martin Valhalla is the first plug-in hybrid supercar with a V8 engine and a mid-engine layout, as positioned by the manufacturer. The unusual name is taken from Scandinavian mythology: Valhalla is a paradise for fallen warriors. Thanks to the collaboration with Mercedes-AMG, the coupe is equipped with a 4-liter 8-cylinder turbocharged engine with a power output of 750 hp. The PHEV setup includes a pair of electric motors, each responsible for its own axis. The total output of the powertrain is 950 hp and 1000 Nm. Only 999 units will be produced.
