Aston Martin Virage generations

The Aston Martin Virage is a Gran Turismo class car produced by Aston Martin (UK) from 1989 to 1996 and from 2011 to 2012. It is available in sedan, coupe, convertible and 3-door estate body styles. The latest generation received a proprietary VH space frame and a 6-liter V12 engine with a capacity of 497 hp, paired with a 6-speed ZF automatic transmission. Despite the fact that the car has a front-engine layout, the gearbox is shifted to the rear axle, which made it possible to achieve an ideal weight distribution of 50:50. Other features include carbon-ceramic brakes, a lightweight composite driveshaft, and adaptive suspension. The dampers automatically select one of five stiffness levels for different driving conditions. Moreover, the Virage was named the "Classic Car of the Future" by the German automotive magazine Auto Bild Klassik.
