Audi 200 – overview
The Audi 200 is a passenger car produced in sedan and estate bodies from 1979 to 1991. It featured exclusively 5-cylinder gasoline engines under its hood. But at its core, the car was a more expensive version of the Audi 100. The 200th model was distinguished by good equipment, rich finishes and improved dynamic performance. The Audi 200 served as the basis for the V8 luxury class. Some especially successful versions even took part in races.
