Avatr 12 generations

The Avatr 12 is a new, fully electric model by the Chinese company Avatr, created through the joint efforts of Changan, Huawei, and CATL. It was introduced in September 2023. The car has a unique design, which the developers call Gran Coupe, but in reality, it is a sedan with a sloping rear without a back window. A large liftgate leads to a separate 350-liter trunk, and the backrest of the three-seater rear seat can be folded down for transporting longer items. This 5-meter-long car with a 3-meter wheelbase features frameless doors, a retractable spoiler at the back, and at the base of the windshield, there's an integrated display allowing programming greetings, drawings, and phrases. The windshield extends to the crossbar of the roof connecting the central pillars. Above the second row of seats is a separate glass panel. Instead of mirrors, cameras and displays have been installed. Above the dashboard, there's a long 35.4-inch screen displaying a combination of instruments and navigation, but there's also a separate central touchscreen measuring 15.6 inches. Nappa leather and wood veneer have been used for the finishing. The Avatr 12 is offered with a single electric motor and rear-wheel drive or a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. Both versions are equipped with the same CATL lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 94.5 kWh, providing a range of 650-700 km. The top speed for both versions is 200 km/h.
