Bentley Bacalar Mulliner – overview
The Bentley Bacalar Mulliner is an open-top 2-seater roadster, also known as a "barquette" (translated from Italian as a small boat). The car is named after a lake in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. The model is distinguished by the cocoon-shaped cockpit and the conical shape of the rear fairings. Designed by the tuning studio Mulliner, the Bentley Bacalar is considered almost the most expensive and luxurious 2-door Bentley today. The sports car does not have a single common body panel with the production Bentley models, not counting the door handle from the Continental GT model. Some of the body elements are made of aluminum, some are made of carbon fiber, and some parts are printed on a 3D printer. The body is covered with paint containing rice husk ash, whereas the interior is trimmed with leather and natural wool and over 5,000 years old wood extracted from the peat bogs of East Anglia.
