Bentley Eight – overview
The Bentley Eight is a sedan produced from 1984 to 1992. At the time of its debut, the starting price of the car was around £50,000, which is slightly below the psychological level and £6,000 less than the original Mulsanne, which served as the basis. This relatively "cheap" Bentley was really distinguished by uncharacteristic simplicity: it featured a fabric interior and a list of equipment that was much shorter than that of the Mulsanne. But on the other hand, a stiffer suspension gave more precise handling. As a result, the Bentley Eight became so popular that, in addition to the UK, it was supplied to Europe and the USA.
