Bentley Mark VI – overview
The Bentley Mark VI is a sports sedan produced from 1946 to 1952. The first post-war Bentley car immediately turned out to be expensive and luxurious. Despite the cost and low quality steel imposed by the government, the car was a great success. At first, it was equipped with a 4.3-liter inline 6-cylinder engine, which was later replaced by a 4.6-liter one. The unit was paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The car featured an independent suspension at the front and a spring suspension at the rear. The model’s chassis was also used by other automakers.
