Buick GL8 generations

The Buick GL8 is a minivan produced by the US-China joint venture Shanghai GM since 2000. Designed for the Chinese automotive market, it was also exported to other countries in Southeast Asia. The first generation vehicle was largely criticized for its build quality. This was partly corrected in the second generation, but the third generation of the 2017 model became much more decent. The new GL8 is equipped with a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine with 253 hp, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and start-stop technology. A significant step forward was the reduction in fuel consumption by 16%, to 8.4 liters per 100 km.
