BYD E6 – overview
The BYD E6 is a compact electric car that has been produced since 2009 and is a cross between a minivan, an SUV and a hatchback. Serial sales began in October 2011. At the same time, the car was initially tested as a taxi in various countries around the world. In the first five years, 35,000 units were sold in China, making the BYD E6 the best-selling electric vehicle in China in 2016. The car is equipped with electric motors with 122 or 163 hp and batteries with a capacity of 57 or 91 kWh. The driving range varies from 200 to 400 km.
