BYD Seal U – overview
BYD Seal U — a new electric crossover from the Chinese auto giant BYD. In the first half of 2024, it's promised to be introduced in Israel. Although the name resembles the Seal sedan, they have nothing in common (even their platforms are different). The letter U in the name stands for "Utility", which is one of the words that make up the term SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). The crossover has an appealing look, designed under the leadership of Wolfgang Egger, the former chief designer of Alfa Romeo and Audi. Seal U offers a rich set of standard features, a long list of driving assistance systems, and advanced LFP Blade batteries. The maximum range on a single charge is 500 km.
