Cadillac Fleetwood - catalog and technical specifications
Back in the pre-war years, Cadillac models were equipped with Fleetwood bodies, which were also used later for more expensive models from the American brand. The Cadillac Fleetwood became an independent model only in 1985. The executive sedans and coupes were initially front-wheel drive, and they became rear-wheel drive in the second generation. With a body length of 5.72 meters, the Fleetwood was the largest production car in the United States of those years, the most luxurious and expensive. Only the sedan remained in the model range after a certain period of time. Moreover, one of these cars, an exclusive armored limousine, stood in the garage of US President Bush (senior). The Cadillac Fleetwood production ended in 1996.
