Chery FX – overview
Usually, the Chery brand is associated with practical family cars. To attract a younger audience, the company has developed a new crossover with a futuristic look, the Chery FX, and presented it at the Guangzhou Auto Show in the fall of 2021. The car entered the Chinese market on the first day of summer 2022. As for the name, in China, the FX is called differently: Omoda. The origin of the name Chery is explained as follows: the letter "O" means "completely new," and "Moda" is a fashion trend. The crossover with such a name is clearly intended for stylish youth and is sharply different from the usual Chery. It is designed in a completely new design concept called Art In Motion.
