Chevrolet Silverado EV in Israel

The Chevrolet Silverado EV, a fully electric pickup truck, was the star automobile premiere at the 2022 CES exhibition in Las Vegas. Production is scheduled to begin between 2022 and 2023. Despite its name, the new Silverado EV shares nothing in common with the conventional Silverado. In fact, it's a reimagined and simplified version of the GMC Hummer EV pickup: they share the same platform and a unified body with a double-row Crew Cab. The traditional frame is gone, replaced by the main supporting structure of the battery pack, which is situated between the axles and connected to sturdy subframes in the front and rear. The suspension is entirely independent, with an optional air suspension capable of adjusting the ground clearance by up to 100mm. Another available option is a fully steerable chassis. The base WT (Work Truck) version features a black front fascia, steel wheels, and simple trim, and comes equipped with all-wheel drive powered by two electric motors delivering a combined 517 horsepower.
