Chrysler PT Cruiser generations

The Chrysler PT Cruiser is a retro compact car produced by Chrysler since 2000 as a 5-door hatchback and since 2005 as a 2-door convertible. The letters "PT" in the name stood for the model’s platform, as well as for "Personal Transport", apparently, especially for those who doubted its purpose. Thus, it was named the Car of the Year in the United States and entered the top ten cars by Car and Driver magazine, but Top Gear named the 2005 PT Cruiser convertible one of the ten worst cars in the last 20 years.
