Citroen Xantia – overview
The Citroën Xantia is a mid-size car produced by Citroën from 1993 to 2002 in liftback and estate bodies. The name comes from the ancient Greek word "xanthos", which means light. During production in France, 1,528,800 cars were produced. Buyers appreciated the hydropneumatic suspension and advanced anti-roll system, as well as a wide range of engines. The car was revived in Iran, where it was produced for several more years under license.
