Daihatsu Midget – overview
The Daihatsu Midget is one of the most iconic and instantly recognizable Daihatsu models, as well as one of the symbols of the countries of Southeast Asia. This originally single-seat mini-truck traces its history back to the 1950s. In 1996, it grew to a kei multi-purpose vehicle. The Midget had a spare tire in the front and was ideal for transporting round barrels. It was produced until 2001.
