Deepal car models in Israel

Deepal is the new name of Shenlan, a subsidiary brand of the Chinese company Changan. The renaming took place in November 2023 in connection with the brand’s entry into export markets. In China itself, Shenlan also became Deepal. The models remained the same, only with a different name: the Deepal SL03 sedan and the Deepal S7 crossover. The young but rapidly growing Deepal brand is a typical NEV brand that produces electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. Hydrogen models will appear later, when demand and associated infrastructure “ripe”. One of Deepal's key partners is the IT giant Huawei, which is responsible for the software. Deepal has ambitious plans: in the very near future, sales should be about 1.5 million electrified cars per year. To do this, you need to go beyond the home Chinese market. At the end of November 2023, the brand launched sales of its cars in Thailand, with further plans to enter Europe and other ASEAN countries. Later, two new models will be presented, developed in an even closer partnership with Huawei.
